Georgian Central Bank Sells USD 30 Mln

The National Bank of Georgia (NBG) sold USD 30 million on the foreign exchange auction on December 30.

According to NBG, the weighted average exchange rate amounted to GEL 3.2752 per USD.

The exchange rate for December 31 was determined at GEL 3.2766 per USD.

Today’s intervention was the 26th this year, with USD 873,222,000 sold in total since March 13.
