New Chief State Auditor Approved

The Parliament approved with 150 votes to 0 Zurab Soselia as new chairman of the Control of Chamber ? the main state audit agency, on June 24.

Zurab Soselia previously held the Deputy Finance Minister?s position.

Former Chairman of the Chamber of Control and ex-President Shevardnadze?s close ally, Sulkhan Molashvili, was arrested last month on charges of misuse of power.
