Tbilisi Protests against Ossetian Maneuvers, Sets Ultimatum

Georgian Interior Minister Irakli Okruashvili expressed protest on June 22 regarding the military exercises carried out by the South Ossetian militia.

Georgian side claims that the shot allegedly fired from the training ground of the South Ossetian militia groups, slightly wounded ethnic Georgian woman, 70, resident of the breakaway region.

?I demand from the Ossetian side to arrest person responsible for this incident within 48 hours, otherwise we will deal with the case,? Irakli Okruashvili told reporters on June 22.

Georgian side has demanded South Ossetian de facto authorities for several times to relocate the firing ground far from the adjacent arrears of the villages.
