PACE monitors to visit Georgia
Co-rapporteurs from Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on honoring Georgia’s obligations will pay a fact-finding visit to the country on May 3-5.
The two co-rapporteurs, Latvian lawmaker Boriss Cilevičs from the Socialist Group, and Swedish MP Kerstin Lundgren from the group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), will meet the Georgian President; the Prime Minister, and members of government; Parliament Speaker, heads of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, the Public Defender and the head of the Central Election Commission, as well as representatives of political parties and civil society organizations.
