Georgia Railway Telecom Sold for USD 14.3 mln

International telecommunications company, Linxtelecom, has bought 100% of Georgian Railway Telecom LLC for USD 14.344 million, the state-owned Georgian Railway LLC said.

Railway Telecom, which was auctioned on November 23, was established by the Georgian Railway to manage and operate the fiber optic network built all along the railroad of Georgia, covering the major part of the country.

Linxtelecom, headquartered in Amsterdam, is focused on telecommunications business in Eastern Europe, Baltic States and Russia.
