14 Polling Stations Annulled

Elections in fourteen polling stations have be annulled, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said on May 22.

Zurab Kachkachishvili, the CEC spokesperson, said that four polling stations in Marneuli (numbers 34; 56; 71; 76); three in Gardabani (58; 59; 27); two in Gori (58; 32) and Kobuleti (43; 15) and one in Khelvachauri (38); Sagarejo (47) and Mtskheta (18) have been annulled because of “grave violations” observed at those precincts. He said that violations involved cases of ballot staffing and damage of ballot boxes and expulsion of election observers from the polling station.
