S.Ossetia Reports Boost in Integration with North Ossetia

Prime Minister of breakaway South Ossetia Yuri Morozov visits Vladikavkaz on August 8 to meet with head of the Russian North Ossetian Republic?s government Alexander Merkulov, the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee (PIC) reported.

The PIC said in a statement that the integration process between the unrecognized republic and Russia’s North Ossetia has become more active recently.

?Actually, all ministries and structures of the South Ossetian Republic are working in accordance to those agreements signed with relevant ministries and structures of the North Ossetian Republic. In the past month, Chairman of the government of the North Ossetian Republic Alania Alexander Merkulov has visited the South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali twice to personally oversee the implementation of inter-governmental agreements,? the PIC said on August 8.
