Okruashvili Visits Lithuania

Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili held talks with his Lithuanian counterpart Gediminas Kirkilas and Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, Major General Valdas Tutkus during an official two-day visit to Lithuania, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported on June 13.
 
The meeting focused on Georgia?s Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations, the internal situation in Georgia, and relations with neighboring countries. The sides also exchanged opinions about the course of defence reforms and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Georgia in the field of defence.
 
According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, Irakli Okruashvili also plans to meet with Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus and Foreign Minister Antanas Valionis.
