Georgia Protests Unauthorized Flights over S.Ossetia

A military helicopter flew over South Ossetia “in the direction of Tskhinvali-Java twice” early on May 15, the Georgian Ministry of Defense (MoD) reported.

The MoD said that the flight was “unauthorized” as it was not agreed on with the Georgian side and can be regarded as “a violation of Georgia’s airspace.”

Recently, the South Ossetian side has also put forth similar protests regarding, as they said, “unauthorized” flights of Georgian helicopters over South Ossetia.
