Abkhaz Railway Talks Planned in Moscow
The Georgian, Russian, Armenian, Abkhaz and Turkish sides will hold two-day talks in Moscow on May 3-4 to discuss the restoration of the Russian-Georgian railway via breakaway Abkhazia, according to the state-run Georgian Railway Company.
The Georgian delegation is being led by Chief of the Georgian state-run Railway Company Irakli Ezugbaia.
According to the Georgian Railway Company, along with technical issues the sides will also discuss the issue of creating a joint consortium which will apparently incorporate the Turkish and Armenian sides with the Georgian, Russian and Abkhaz sides.
