Official: Moscow Offers ‘Concrete’ Proposals over Military Bases

Igor Savolsky, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s special envoy who leads the Russian delegation at the talks over the military bases stationed in Georgia, told reporters on April 14 that the Russian side is offering “concrete proposals” to Georgia over the timeframe of the bases’ withdrawal.

“[These proposals] take into consideration Georgia’s position. We expect to work intensively over these two days,” Savolsky said but refused to further elaborate about these proposals being offered by the Russian side.
