Russian Official, OSCE Envoy Meet in Moscow

Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister Valerie Loshchinin held talks with Head of the OSCE Mission to Georgia Roy Reeve on March 17.

The issues of the South Ossetian conflict resolution and OSCE assistance in training Georgian border guards were discussed during the talks, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry claims that because of the unconstructive position of the Russian side, which has already been expressed by the termination of the OSCE Border Monitoring Operation (BMO), the same threat is now being posed to the training program for the Georgian border guards in frames of the OSCE.
