Saakashvili Prolongs Visit to Ukraine

The Georgian media reported that President Mikheil Saakashvili will remain in Ukraine at least for three more days. He intends to welcome the Orthodox Christmas on January 7 with Ukrainian President-elect Victor Yushchenko.

President Saakashvili was expected to arrive back in Georgia on January 3.

Saakashvili left for Ukraine on December 31 and welcomed the New Year side by side with Victor Yushchenko.
