U.S. Military Experts Assess Needs of Georgian Troops
A group of military experts from the U.S. European Command is visiting Georgia on November 8-13 to make assessments in order to figure out Georgian troops? needs in respect to a newly planned military assistance program for Georgia, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported on November 8.
The U.S. Department of State announced on November 4 that Washington will offer additional training for the Georgian troops in peace support operations.
It is expected that the details of new assistance program will be known after the military experts from the U.S. European Command make their assessment.
