Search for Four Soldiers-on-the-Run

(Tbilisi, June 3, Civil Georgia) – Law enforcement agencies seek four soldiers that escaped from the brigade number 11 on May 31.

Head of the Georgian Defense Ministry PR Office Mirian Kiknadze told Civil Georgia on June 3, that soldiers are armed.

Event comes as an embarrasment for the Georgian Defense Ministry as the part of the soldiers from the 11th brigade will be involved in the Georgia Train-and-Equip program.

As Mirian Kiknadze said escaped soldiers were not among the ones pinpointed to be trained by the US military instructors.

Defense Ministry reports that Military Prosecutor’s Office investigates the case.
