January GDP Growth 0.8% – Preliminary Data

Georgia’s real GDP grew 0.8% in January, according to preliminary data released by the state statistics office on Monday.
 
The government expects 3% economic growth in 2016.

Georgia’s economy expanded by 2.8% in 2015, lower than 4.6% in 2014 and the weakest since 2009.
