Ivanishvili Interviewed by Reuters
Billionaire philanthropist, Bidzina Ivanishvili, gave his first interview after announcing about going into politics to Reuters on October 14.
The interview was recorded in his Tbilisi compound. The Reuters has so far released several photos of the billionaire-turned-politician, whose previous and up until now the only interview was dated with 2005 when he spoke with the Russian business daily Vedomosti.
The interview was conducted in Georgian during which Ivanishvili spoke about his views about the country’s internal and foreign policy, as well as about economic issues, a Reuters journalist, who interviewed Ivanishvili, said.
A group of journalists from various local media outlets have been gathered outside Ivanishvili’s compound in recent days trying to spot everyone entering billionaire’s office overlooking the capital city.
Meanwhile Ivanishvili’s teenage son, Bera, who is a pop singer, released via YouTube a video of his song, which, as he said, is dedicated to his father’s decision to go into politics.
