Biden to Visit Georgia, Ukraine
U.S. Vice President, Joe Biden, will visit Georgia and Ukraine the week of July 20-24 to demonstrate U.S. support “for continued democratic and economic reforms” in the two countries, the White House said on June 22.
During the visit, the Vice President will meet with the political leadership of each country, as well as opposition figures and civil society representatives. The White House said that additional details of the trip will be released at a later date.
Joe Biden visited Georgia shortly after the last year’s war with Russia, on August 18, when he was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.
