Head of Tbilisi-based Abkhaz Gov’t Resigns

Malkhaz Akishbaia, head of Tbilisi-based Abkhaz government-in-exile, said he was resigining to continue tenure in other, yet not specified, position in the government.
 
Malkhaz Akishbaia was appointed to this position in March 2006 replacing Irakli Alasania, leader of Alliance for Georgia.
