MIA: Mine Blast Kills Two Policemen
Two Georgian policemen were killed when a mine exploded in the Georgian-controlled village of Dvani near the administrative border with South Ossetia on November 10, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said.
It said the incident occurred in the village in the south-west from Tskhinvali, when the policemen were patrolling the area at 7:15am.
According to the same report, three other policemen, who arrived at the scene shortly after the first explosion, were injured after the second mine went off.
