Parliamentary Chairman Visits U.S

Davit Bakradze, the parliamentary chairman, left for New York on September 6.

He told journalists before his departure that he planned meetings in the UN headquarters with, among others, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

“I will also meet all ambassadors of UN Security Council member states, apparently, except for the Russian envoy,” Bakradze said.

This is the second trip of the parliamentary chairman to the United States in two weeks.
