Georgia: Multilateral contribution

Rome, 13 August 2008 – "The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Directorate General for Cooperation and Development has contributed with a financial amount of 200.000 euros to ICRC in response to urgent humanitarian assistance for the population in Georgia, facing health problems, lack of food and shelters.

The contribution will cover needs identified by ICRC, following the "Preliminary Emergency Appeal".
