JP Morgan, UBS Selected for Eurobonds Issue
JP Morgan and UBS have been selected to organize Georgia’s first-ever eurobonds issue worth USD 500 million this April, Nika Gilauri, Georgia’s finance minister, told journalists after a cabinet meeting on February 20.
The two banks selected were among six the government had been considering. The others are Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch.
PM Lado Gurgenidze said earlier that the plan was to issue eurobonds with a maturity of between five and 10 years.
