Georgian, French Foreign Ministers Discuss Ties
Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili met with his French counterpart Philippe Douste-Blazy in Paris on November 7, the Georgian and French Foreign Ministries reported.
Tensions between Russia and Georgia were discussed, as well as the Abkhaz and South Ossetian conflicts, according to the French Foreign Ministry.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry reported that the French side shared Tbilisi?s position on the necessity to change the current Russian-led negotiating formats of the conflicts and to increase the EU?s role in the conflict resolution process.
