Rustavi 2 TV Chief Expected to Respond to Anchor’s Resignation

Rustavi 2 television station announced on July 7 that its Director-General Nika Tabatadze will convene a news conference on Friday in a response to an announcement of the TV’s political talk-show anchor Eka Khoperia.

Khoperia said during the late-night live program on July 6 that she was under pressure and quits the television station. Sandro Girgvliani’s high-profile murder case was a topic of Khoperia’s talk-show Tavisupali Tema (Free Theme) on July 6. After the announcement the life talk-show was ceased.
