PM Rules Out Creation of New Autonomies in Georgia

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli said on June 24 that ?there already are autonomies in Georgia and not a single autonomy will be created in the country.?

PM Nogaideli commented on the Georgian media reports that a group of Akhalkalaki-based organizations demanded at an assembly on June 24 autonomy for the Javakheti region, which is predominantly populated by ethnic Armenians.
