Abkhaz Leader Hails Anti-Terrorist Center

On June 2 Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh visited the training ground of the newly created anti-terrorist center, which is located in the Ochamchire district of the breakaway region, Apsnipress reported.

Bagapsh, who welcomed the creation of the center, said that the anti-terrorist unit should be in a close cooperation in other law enforcement agencies “to prevent the terrorism threat.”

Bagapsh also said that he will instruct the government to allocate further funding for the center in order to further improve its infrastructure.
