Russia Concerned over NATO Expansion

Speaking with media executives from G-8 countries on June 2 Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is concerned about NATO’s expansion.

“When the military structure of NATO comes close to our borders, we react. Why should this happen in this world? It’s no longer a world of two systems,” AP quoted Putin as saying.
