Georgian PM to Visit Kazakhstan
Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli will leave for Kazakhstan for a two-day working visit on June 1.
Talks with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Daniel Akhmatov are planned.
PM Nogaideli will address the Georgian-Kazakh business forum on June 2.
The Georgian Prime Minister also plans to meet with top executives from the KazMunayGaz and Bank TuranAlem – two companies, which have recently carried out significant investments in Georgia.
KazMunayGaz’s subsidiary company, KazTransGaz, has purchased Tbilisi’s gas distribution company TbilGazi, while the TuranAlem Bank has invested over USD 100 million in Georgian real estate, as well as bought the country’s largest telephone operator for USD 90 million.
