Construction of S.Ossetia Gas Pipeline to Start in 2006

Construction of the gas pipeline from Russia’s North Ossetia’s Alagiri district to breakaway South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali will be launched in second half of 2006, unrecognized republic’s Prime Minister Yuri Morozov said on May 26, according to the Regnum news agency.

The gas pipeline project, which has already been prepared and submitted to Gazprom experts for consideration is already included in the Russian energy giant’s 2006 investment programs.
