Georgian Foreign Minister Meets U.S. Official
Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili held talks with visiting U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew Bryza on May 26, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
The sides discussed a wide range of bilateral political and economic relations, energy policy issues, prospects for Georgia’s integration into NATO, as well as peaceful resolution of conflicts.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the sides also discussed Georgia’s relationship with its neighboring states and the European Union.
Matthew Bryza also met with Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze earlier on May 26.
