Flood Kills One in Eastern Georgia

A serviceman of the Border Guard Department died near the Azerbaijani border as a result of flooding in the Kvareli and Lagodekhi districts of the eastern region of Kakheti caused by heavy rains overnight on May 14.

Farmland and over 100 houses have been flooded, reports say.
