Justice Ministry: Seven Inmates Die in Prison Riot

The Georgian Justice Ministry has confirmed the death of seven inmates as a result of a clash with the police special unit during a riot in the Tbilisi’s 5th prison early on March 27.


According to the Justice Ministry, 22 other inmates and 2 policemen are still hospitalized.
