Georgian MPs Visit Moscow
A group of Georgian parliamentarians led by Vice Speaker Mikheil Machavariani left for Moscow on a two-day working visit on March 19.
The Georgian MPs will hold talks with the Russian State Duma officials. The meetings with the officials from the Parliamentary Committees for CIS Affairs, Foreign Relations and Defense and Security are also planned.
Reportedly, the Georgian MPs will also hold talks with Chairman of the State Duma Boris Gryzlov.
This visit by Georgian parliamentarians was scheduled for February 26, however was postponed until mid-March by request of the Russian side.
