Georgia Offers to Hold JCC Session in Tbilisi
Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava offered the South Ossetian and Russian sides to hold a meeting of the quadripartite Joint Control Commission (JCC) in Tbilisi.
“I sent a letter [to the co-chairman of the JCC] with this proposal on February 22. There was no response. Then I sent one more letter on March 1, but Boris Chochiev [chief S.Ossetian negotiator] responded with a refusal,” Giorgi Khaindrava told Rustavi 2 television on March 2.
