GUAM Deputy Foreign, Energy Ministers Meet in Baku

A Georgian delegation, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Valerie Chechelashvili, left for Baku on February 23 to participate in a meeting of the National Coordinators of the GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) member states.
 
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, issues related with coordination of efforts by GUAM member states to settle the conflicts in the region will be discussed during the meeting, as well as GUAM activities for 2006.

On February 24 the Deputy Energy Ministers from the GUAM states will join the meeting to discuss energy security issues.
