Georgian Foreign Minister Attends OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili left for Ljubljana, Slovenia to attend the 13th Ministerial Council meeting of the OSCE on December 5-6.


According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the participants will discuss the issue of reforming the OSCE and the problems pertaining to the ‘frozen’ conflicts.


During this visit Gela Bezhuashvili will hold bilateral talks with President of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Alcee L. Hastings, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Rolf Ekeus, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, U.S. Under-Secretary for Political Affairs R. Nicholas Burns, Foreign Ministers of GUAM member States and other officials. 


Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili also plans to push the South Ossetian issue at the OSCE Ministerial Council.
