Saakashvili, Aliyev Discuss Pre-Election Situation in Azerbaijan

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili discussed the situation in Azerbaijan on the eve of the Sunday parliamentary elections during a phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on November 5, the Azeri state news agency AzerTag reported.

The Azerbaijani leader informed President Saakashvili about measures  being taken by the Azerbaijani authorities to ensure ?transparent and democratic elections,? according to the AzerTag news agency.
