President Convenes National Security Council

President Saakashvili will hold a session of the National Security Council (NSC) later on October 20 to discuss recent developments involving the appointment of Gela Bezhuashvili, the Security of the NSC as the new Foreign Minister, the Georgian media reported.

Saakashvili is also expected to make a public statement at the NSC session regarding the dismissal of Salome Zourabichvili from the Foreign Minister?s position.
