Georgian Lawyers Establish New Bar Association

A founding session of the Georgian Lawyers? Association was convened on February 26 in Tbilisi. The newly set up organization is designed to become a strong lobby group of Georgian lawyers, mainly uniting defense attorneys.

Michael Greco, President-elect of the American Bar Association in Georgia, attended the founding session of the Association.

?It will be a powerful organization which will unite more than 1,200 attorneys,? Eka Beselia, a lawyer, told reporters.
