Georgian State Minister Hails Talks with Kokoev

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Goga Khaindrava hailed his talks that took place 0with President of breakaway South Ossetia Eduard Kokoev, in conjunction with members of the Joint Control Commission (JCC), and said that it may be ?a turning point? for conflict resolution.

Khaindrava, who represents the Georgian side in the JCC, which oversees the conflict resolution process in South Ossetian, met Kokoev in Tskhinvali on December 24.

?He [Eduard Kokoev] was so constructive, like never before. The meeting was very hopeful,? Khaindrava said at a news briefing in Tbilisi on December 25.
