Abkhaz Foreign Minister Appointed

Outgoing President of breakaway Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba appointed Sergey Shamba as the unrecognized republic?s Foreign Minister on December 14, Interfax and RIA Novosti news agencies reported.

Sergey Shamba held this position for the past seven years but resigned on the eve of the October 3 presidential elections, as he was running for President.
