Georgian Ex-Peacekeeper Chief Arrested

Mikheil Kebadze, ex-commander of the Georgian peacekeeping battalion stationed in the breakaway South Ossetian conflict zone, was arrested on October 13. He is accused of illegal possession of ?large number of arms.?
 
Deputy Security Minister Batu Kutelia said that the investigation tries to find out whether Mikheil Kebadze was involved in illegal arms trade.
