Abashidze Resigned

Reports say Aslan Abashidze resigned and left for Russia after overnight talks with Secretary of the Russian Security Council Igor Ivanov on May 6.


No official confirmation of the report came so far; however, President Saakashvili intends to hold a special press conference in coming minutes. It is anticipated that Mikheil Saakashvili will comment regarding the report.
