Leader of the Labor Party Shalva Natelashvili and couple of hounded his supporters are holding a protest rally outside the Central Election Commission in Tbilisi on March 29 to protest, as they claim “widespread vote rigging” during the March 28 parliamentary polls.
With the 20% of votes counted, the Central Election Commission announced on March 29 that the Labor Party is on the third place with 4,47% support.
A group of Labor Party’s activists launched a hunger strike demanding cancellation of the March 28 election results.
Shalva Natelashvili, who is President Saakashvili’s radical opposition, claimed Labor Party won 32% of the votes.
