New Movement “By Ourselves” Established

(Tbilisi. May 5, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Tbilisi branch of the “By Ourselves” civil movement was established today in the capital city. The movement is led by the former minister of agriculture Bakur Gulua.

As the representatives of the organization say, their goal is Abkhazia’s return to Georgia’s jurisdiction. They would also lobby certain persons during the Parliamentary elections. In the nearest future the movement will hold the founding summit.

During the tenure in the Agriculture Ministry, Bakur Gulua was accused for corruption and use of the official post for private purposes.
