CIS Foreign Minister Discuss Iraqi Issue

(Tbilisi. April 11, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) meet in Tajikistani capital Dushanbe on April 11-12 to discuss current situation in Iraq.

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Merab Antadze participates in the summit.

Russian Foreign Ministry reported on April 10 that the situation in Iraq might have impact on CIS countries and the issue needs to be discussed.

Discussion of the joint measures of fight against terrorism is also scheduled.
