CEC: Voter Turnout 16.7% at 12pm

67,217 voters, accounting for 16.7% of all registered voters, cast ballot in the by-elections by 12pm, four hours after the polling stations were opened, according to the Central Election Commission (CEC).

The highest voter turnout in the mayoral by-elections was reported in Zugdidi, where 20.1% of voters cast their ballots as of 12pm, followed by Khulo and Chiatura with 19.5% and 17.6%, respectively. The lowest voter turnout was reported in Marneuli – 14%.

Voter turnout in the Parliamentary by-elections in Mtatsminda constituency stood at 10.4%.

In Sakrebulo by-elections, the highest voter turnout was reported in Sagarejo, where 35.7% of voters cast their ballots as of 12pm, while the lowest voter turnout was reported in Tkibuli – 17.7%.
