UN Envoy, Russian Foreign Minister Discuss Abkhazia

Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, meet with UN Secretary General?s Special Representative in Georgia, Jean Arnault, and discussed issues related with the Abkhaz conflict on November 22 in Moscow.

?The Russian side pointed out that the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict can be settled only through peaceful means,? the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Jean Arnault also met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Grigory Karasin, on the same day.
