New EU Ambassador Meets Prime Minister
Ambassador Pawel Herczynski, the new Head of the European Union Delegation to Georgia, met Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on 9 September to discuss bilateral relations, including the priorities of the EU-Georgia Association Agenda.
According to the Georgian Government’s press release, the two emphasized the importance of the European Council’s decision to grant Georgia European perspective. They underscored that the decision “laid the foundation for a new stage that should bring Georgia to EU membership.”
The PM wished Ambassador Herczynski success in his future work in the country.
